ISPD 2006 Abstract Submission
The Scientific Programme Committee invites authors to submit abstracts of presentation for consideration and inclusion in the programme.
Authors must submit
abstracts online. Please note
that only electronic submissions will be accepted.
In case you do not have any internet access, please
contact the Congress Secretariat.
Deadline for Abstract Submission: 25 March 2006
Abstracts received after 25 March 2006 will not be accepted.
General Policies
- Only original scientific material, which has not been previously published.
- Authors can submit more than one paper.
- Abstracts must be submitted in English.
- Author will be required
to provide his or her login user ID and a password.
The online abstract submission programme will allow
the author to return at a later time to update
or edit the abstract.However, the abstract cannot
be edited after submission.
- Upon submission, authors will receive a confirmation by email.If you do not receive an email confirmation after submitting your abstract, please contact the Congress Secretariat.
- Abstracts will be reviewed
by an international panel of experts and are handled
anonymously. An abstract may be selected for oral
or poster presentation, or be rejected.
- Notifications of acceptance
will be sent to presenting authors in early May
2006. Details of the presentation format will be
included in the notification.
- Presenting authors of
the abstracts (either oral or poster) are required
to register and pay for the registration fee. Failure
to do so will result in exclusion from the final
programme.
- All accepted abstracts
may be published in the supplement of Peritoneal
Dialysis International.
Abstract Format
- Word limit is 300 words.
A maximum of 2 graphs, tables or images saved in
JPEG/GIF/ TIF format of at least 300 dpi can be
included in your abstract.
- Abstract title must be
in Title Case, e.g. Peritoneal Dialysis. Title
should be brief and clearly indicate the content
of the abstract.
- Author and co-author
names, institutions, cities and countries are to
be typed in appropriate boxes. Include family name
and initials of author(s).Do not include degrees
or professional titles (Dr, PhD, Prof, MD, etc.)
Abstract Content
Make the abstract as informative as possible. Conclusions must be supported by data. Organize the body of the abstract as follows: (a) objectives, (b) methods, (c) results, (d) conclusions. Use standard abbreviations and generic drug names. Place unusual abbreviations or acronyms in parentheses after first use. Do not identify author(s) or institution(s) in text.
